FTISLAND’s Lee Hongki has been selected as the new MC for cable channel Mnet music program “Mcountdown”.
Jung Yoojin, PD for “Mcountdown”, revealed on 27th that, “FISLAND’s vocal Lee Hongki will be the new MC for ‘Mcountdown’ starting 30 August, together with the reformation of the program.”
The producers explained the reasons for their MC selection, “Having a wide sphere of activity as a singer, Lee Hongki holds the qualities of being an outstanding MC with his clever talk and ready wit. He is also fluent in Japanese and has a high recognition level, therefore we have selected him as the most suitable person to be the MC for the global music chart show.”
Besides “Mcountdown”, Lee Hongki has been the MC for several music programs and award ceremonies, conducting these programs smoothly with his quick reaction skill, gaining lots of recognition.
The new MC for “Mcountdown”, Lee Hongki, will be greeting everyone on Mnet and KM starting 30 August, at 6pm.
