[News] 130517 Lee Hongki sweats as guests prank him at outdoor wedding with Fujii Mina

Lee Hongki had a nerve wracking time before Fujii Mina at their wedding ceremony on “We Got Married Global”.
On the episode that is to going be aired on 19th, footage of the couple’s wedding ceremony preparations will be revealed.
Before the wedding ceremony, Lee Hongki introduced the guests, who are his friends, to Fujii Mina. However, his guests played a mischievous prank on him, disclosing his past and almost made him cry.
Especially when Lee Hongki’s closest friends from FTISLAND who teased him saying, “Lee Hongki is one who makes fast progress. A real pro,” which had him totally stumped.
Following this, Hong Seok Cheon suddenly gave Hongki a hug in front of Fujii Mina and revealed, “I will not allow this marriage. Lee Hongki always says that Min from miss A is his girlfriend.” Everyone burst out laughing, leaving the couple embarrassed.

Lee Hongki & Fujii Mina’s wedding photoshoot images are revealed.
Scenes from the couple’s wedding photoshoot will be revealed on the 5th episode of MBC every1 “We Got Married Global” airing on 5 May at 11.30pm (KST).
The production crew especially commented that Fujii Mina looked perfect in a wedding dress, on top of her pretty looks.
Lee Hongki praised Fujii Mina, saying, “She’s looking pretty as always and putting on the wedding dress makes her really beautiful undoubtedly, the feel of goddess Athena.” He couldn’t stop his compliments on her pretty looks throughout the photoshoot.
Fujii Mina revealed, “It’s my first time putting on a wedding dress and I was really nervous. But I felt really happy and pleased that Hong-chan (Hongki) said I looked pretty.”
This episode will air on 5 May, 11.30pm (KST).

Fujii Mina teared as she listened to the song Lee Hongki sang for her.
In a recent recording of MBC every1 “We Got Married Global”, Fujii Mina broke into a flood of tears when Lee Hongki sang FTISLAND’s “Love Love Love”, which had him totally stumped.
Fujii Mina confessed that,”I felt really happy with the thought that he sang the song only for me. He sang it so well and I was very touched.”
Lee Hongki smiled, saying,”Girls look really pretty after they cry.”
This episode will air on 28 April, 11.30pm.

FTISLAND’s Choi Jonghoon, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa & AOA’s Jimin revealed their uniform charisma in a recent photoshoot.
The pictorial is especially eye-catchy as all three models are the leaders of their respective bands.
Choi Jongjoon displays masculinity beneath his unique soft looks, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa gives off a sophisticated and strong charisma, while female band AOA’s leader Jimin stands out in the close-up of her attractive sideline, drawing attention with her classy and sexy charm.

[News] 130418 FTISLAND releases live band practice video for self-composition “LIFE”

Practice video of FTISLAND’s original composition ‘LIFE’ is creating a topic.
The LIFE-Live Band Practice video is released on FTISLAND’s official YouTube channel on 17 April.
The song ‘LIFE’, composed by FTISLAND’s Choi Jonghoon and written by Lee Hongki, is recorded in the band’s 4th regular album ‘FIVE TREASURE BOX’ and has received lots of love not just in Korea, but also in Taiwan, Japan, China and many other countries.
The video is filmed using 9 sets of cameras and it focuses on the band members’ individual parts, which draws even more attention from viewers.
Minhwan, who always sits at the back of the stage, gets a close-up on his powerful drum play. In addition, the members show immense concentration in their parts even though it’s a practice, getting a tremendous response from fans.
FTISLAND has successfully concluded their Asia tour “TAKE FTISLAND” concert in Beijing recently. They will embark on a big scale arena tour in Japan this June.

FTISLAND’s Lee Hongki stars as a troublemaker idol star for his first big screen debut in the movie “Passionate Goodbye”.
The movie “Passionate Goodbye” is set in a hospice, where incurable patients prepare themselves to leave this world. It is a human drama that talks about how the terminally ill patients held on to their final dreams together with the troublemaker idol singer.
Lee Hongki stars as Choong Ee, a star who receives community service order after getting involved in an assault. Though Choong Ee enjoys immense popularity among his fans, he is an impudent singer who gets into trouble easily. He lost his temper and threw punches which landed him in a hospital, doing volunteer service. With his consistently rude behaviour, he always gets in trouble with the volunteer-in-charge, Anna (starring Baek Jinhee), resulting in fiery nerve battles between the two.
Choong Ee promised to provide mentoring support to the patients who intends to take part in a rock band audition, on the condition of double-clocking his volunteer hours. As he watches the patients who make every effort to achieve their last dreams, he realises the hard work they’ve put in and treats them wholeheartedly.
Before his singing debut, Lee Hongki has build up his acting skills since he was a child actor. He has also accumulated experiences through dramas like “You’re Beautiful”, “Noriko goes to Seoul” and many others even after debuting with FTISLAND.
Lee Hongki wins high praises from movie director, Nam Taeksu, “He has the talent to be a great actor.” His active role together with collaborations with Ma Dongseok, Baek Jinhee, Im Wonhee, Jeon Minseo is no doubt one of the reasons not to miss this movie.
“Passionate Goodbye” will hit theaters on 30 May.

[News] 130414 FTISLAND successfully concludes their first solo concert in Beijing

FTISLAND held their first concert in Beijing on 13 April.
According to their management company, FTISLAND took the stage in their best condition at the concert held at Beijing Olympic Stadium, which is part of their “TAKE FTISLAND” Asia tour.
“It’s been a long time since their previous concert held in Shanghai, China on 19 January. The members fully enjoyed the concert and devoted all their energy on stage.”
In addition, the members also revealed new hairstyles on stage. Especially Lee Hongki who drew attention with his new hairband style.
The members spoke in Chinese throughout the concert, which they have been learning previously.
FTISLAND performed hit songs like “LIFE”, “PAPER PLANE”, “Compass”, “Your words”, “I wish”, “LET IT GO”, “WANNA GO” and more from their 4th regular album “FIVE TREASURE BOX” at the concert, which has received lots of love in China.

[News] 130410 FTISLAND releases 2013 tour schedule

FTISLAND reveals their tour schedule for year 2013.
The band has been receiving lots of attention lately with their on-going Asia tour and upcoming Japan arena tour schedule.
Their company mentioned that, “There are many upcoming plans for overseas concert. On top of that, Song Seunghyun is also casted for the musical ‘Summer Snow’ in Japan starting April. There are no activities planned in Korea at the moment.”
FTISLAND will be holding a concert at Beijing Olympic Stadium on 13 April, as part of the “TAKE FTISLAND” concert tour.
The “TAKE FTISLAND” concert tour which took place since last September in Seoul, has also successfully completed its rounds in Taiwan & Shanghai. After the upcoming concert in Beijing, the band plans to hold their next show in Singapore on 27 July and Hong Kong on 24 August. Activities in Korea are expected to be postponed.
On the other hand, FTISLAND will also embark on an arena tour in Japan, starting this June.
Their arena tour will begin in Miyagi on 15 June, followed by 22 June in Shizuoka, 25 & 26 June in Nagoya, 29 & 30 June in Osaka, 7 July in Nagano & finally 10 & 11 July in Tokyo.
FTISLAND’s 10th Japanese single ‘You Are My Life’ that is released in March earlier, topped various music charts in Japan. Their 3rd Japanese full album “RATED-FT” is also slated for release in June.
